BREAD!

Finally had a chance to try out that sourdough starter described in several posts, and while not quite as sour as I would like, it turned out great!


For lack of a proper cooling rack, I suspended it between two inverted cake pans.  So now I have a known good starter and will be making bread much more often, and will never buy another packet of yeast.

The texture was near perfect too - this is why you knead for 10 minutes :)
